Met Gala 2018: Fashion Round Up | The Top 5 Looks of The Night + A Bonus

The 2018 MET COSTUME INSTITUTE GALA was held on May 8, 2018 in NYC. The theme of the event was Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and The Catholic Imagination" and the stars did not disappoint. Here are my top five looks for the night, let's go!

Cardi B | Met Gala 2018

5. CARDI B

For her first run out the gate, Cardi B did an awesome job! In Jeremy Scott, she graced the red carpet with a shimmering gown, head piece and train. I have to say she stuck to the theme and had fun with it, not to mention being with child too.

Solange Knowles| Met Gala 2018

4. SOLANGE KNOWLES

Solange stunned in an all black Iris van Herpen look with a majorly chic headpiece to match. Though this look is more abstract that most would be used to, we must remember that this is a costume gala. This PVC sculpted look was no doubt showstopper.

Blake Lively | Met Gala 2018

3. BLAKE LIVELY

Regal. That's the only word I can use to define Blake Lively at the MET Gala this year. Blake wore this gorgeous red Versace gown, she's apparently joining the royal family...I think.

Kim Kardashian | Met Gala 2018

2. KIM KARDASHIAN

I may be a bit biased, but I almost lost my breathe when I saw Kim hit the red carpet. Versace! Versace! Versace! This gold number looked so amazing and Kim usually is always a hit on the red carpet. She could have been a bit more costume driven, and played up her look with accessories but this look is still a win for me.

Rihanna | Met Gala 2018

1. RIHANNA

Queen Rih makes my fashion round up again! Pope of the night! Her Maison Margiela ensemble was stunning and the jeweled miter was the perfect touch for this Catholic Imagination themed event. As a co-chair this year, I was so excited to see Rihanna becoming more and more of a fashion fixture amongst the community.

Katy Perry | Met Gala 2018

Bonus: Katy Perry

I mean, who doesn't love a good pair of wings? Katy hit the mark on the Heavenly Bodies theme. This ensemble was created by the house of Versace. Kudos Katy!
